WHAT IS SSAE 16?
An SSAE 16 assessment is a highly specialized audit conducted in accordance with Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16, Reporting
on Controls at a Service Organization. As of June 15, 2011, the SSAE 16 replaced Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70, Service Organizations, as the new framework used for
reporting in certain controls at service organizations. The product of a SSAE 16 audit is presented by the auditor to the service organization in the form of
a Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements. The SSAE 16 report can be either
a Type I or Type II. Advanced provides both types of services, as well as pre-SSAE 16 assessments. We provide personalized and responsive service,
experienced and dedicated professionals, and high quality deliverables without the Big Four price tag.

WHAT A SSAE 16 CAN DO
FOR YOUR COMPANY:
An unqualified SSAE 16 report provides assurance to your customers that you have implemented stringent internal controls over the services you provide. Most organizations that choose to outsource their services prefer providers who complete a SSAE 16 audit; in
today's governance-focused world, many require it.
